If you will be in Santa Clara next week, August 13-15, stop by our booth at the Flash Memory Summit to participate in a contest. We will be featuring demos that include the soon-to-be released LM10502 and LM10524 PMUs.

Contest rules:

  1. Visit TI’s booth #816.
  2. Take picture ask about the LM10524 demo.
  3. Tweet @TXInstruments and #flashmem with a photo of the demo OR how you would use it.

In addition to the contest, join us for:

Wednesday, August 14 @ 5:05 PM

We’re having a party in the theater off the show floor of the Flash Memory Summit to celebrate our new WEBENCH® PMU Power Architect! The new tool speeds design of SSD power supplies and gets your design out the door fast.  Get a tattoo, wear a festive blinky light, get a sugar rush - and help us kick off the new WEBENCH tool and jump into the evening’s festivities.

Thursday, August 15 @ 8:30-9:40 am

Advanced Power Technologies for SSD Applications - Alex Vainberg, Product line marketing manager

"With the emphasis on lowering power consumption, TI pioneered ground-breaking technology for reducing the energy consumed by large scale CMOS ASICs and other system on chips including controllers for SSD applications. This technology is called Adaptive Voltage Scaling (AVS) which can significantly reduce overall power consumption. Unlike other methods, AVS is a closed-loop control system that not only handles process variation between devices, but also shifts in temperature, digital load, and process aging."

Power Integration for Small Factor SSDs - Robert Loke, Technologist

"Full integrated power management solutions are capable of powering all supply rails in Solid State Drives. These ultra-compact, reliable/flexible and efficient power solutions replaces all discrete regulators typically used in these drives. It functions cooperatively with the SSD controller ASIC to optimize the supply voltage for low power conditions and features power saving modes to obtain maximum efficiency. These Integrated Power Management IC’s deliver also full flexibility over I2C/SPI serial interface to communicate with processors to achieve output voltage programmability. Unlike discrete solutions available today, the highly integrated, all-in-one Power management Solutions from TI delivers high performance-to-cost ratio and is specifically designed and optimized with features geared for SSD and flash drive applications."

If you attend, let us know how you would use the upcoming LM10502 adn LM10524 for your application in the comment section below.

See you there!
