Sitara will feature automation demos with the AM4x and AM5x processors. AM4x is a 1 GHz Cortex™-A9 processor with an enhanced industrial communications sub-system and more. With the introduction of the AM5x, we are excited to expand the Sitara portfolio to include a processor with two Cortex™-A15cores operating at up to 1.5 GHz each, plus advanced multimedia and connectivity features.
At the show, you’ll see:
- A highly integrated drive supporting advanced motor control including position feedback and various fieldbus communication options on a single chip– the AM4x.
- A PLC software CoDeSys 3.5 solution which can output visualization on a screen via HDMI brought to you by the highest-performing Sitara processor to date – the AM5x.
