Love sports and fitness? Have a mobile app idea? Attending IBM Impact April 27-May 1 in Las Vegas?
If you answered yes to these questions, the SportsHack Challenge leading up to IBM Impact is right up your alley. Running from April 17-May 1, the challenge includes two ways to compete. The first is for the best mobile app that aggregates data from health and fitness devices. The second is for the best data analytics app from health and fitness data.
TI is a proud sponsor of the SportsHack events leading up to and at IBM Impact. Challengers can get a head-start on developing using the SimpleLink™ Bluetooth Smart SensorTag and BeagleBone Black open-source development board based TI’s Sitara processor. Meet your competition and get advice from experts at the Meetup on Sunday April 27 from 5 to 6 p.m. PT at the Venetian Hotel, Sands 309.
Need some ideas on what you can do with the SensorTag and BeagleBone Black?
- Check out the SensorTag page and wiki which includes ideas and training on how to develop a mobile app in under an hour.
- Check out the BeagleBoard.org project pages and blog for ideas on how to use this open-source platform to create an IoT gateway to aggregate data.
You need to submit your code by April 29 to pitch your app in front of the judges at Impact so get started now.
