We are packing our sunglasses and sandals to head to the Embedded Linux Conference (ELC) in San Jose next week! ELC offers more than 50 sessions, across a variety of topics all dedicated to embedded Linux and embedded developers. One session in particular features TI’s system integration manager for the Linux Core Product Development (LCPD) team, Chase Maupin.

Chase’s presentation discusses the issues involved when balancing between upstream kernel development and productization of a kernel to meet customer schedules. Chase will discuss the use of Scrum as a development methodology to achieve this balance to allow for effective community support while meeting key customer deliverables and effectively utilizing top talent from around the world.  Come learn from the experience of the LCPD team and walk away with some ideas for implementing an Agile methodology in your own development.

Sign up and register today to attend Chase’s session on Thursday, May 1 from 10:00 – 10:50 a.m. PT.

Will you be joining us in sunny San Jose?
